Test drive

The car is running. It's damn quick for a pile of crap. Damn quick. We've done a few test (joy) rides around the 'hood. The neighbors hate us.

We had a good week wrapping up right before Christmas. Lots of little tasks done: Submarine belt-mount installed, adjustable rear seat brace, cut/mold padding to go around window net, and we put a real nice fine tune on the car. The engine is real quiet - until it's not. :)

The car went from Jupiter to Delray last week - makes it a little more centrally located for the members that are helping out on the remaining details. On Christmas Eve we all got a nice surprise - My wife Erika had finished painting the pinup girl for the hood of the car. It came out amazing:

If the weather permits - we'll get the rest of the theme on the car Monday and Tuesday. If not then - maybe we'll finish it in the waiting line for Tech.
